Job Qualifications
Requirements
- Male or Female applicants are welcome.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Biology, Forestry, or related disciplines.
- Minimum one year of experience working in forest environments is preferred.
- Experience in botanical studies, plant identification, or related field activities is highly desirable.
- Intermediate-level English communication skills are preferred.
- Strong interest in conservation and environmental research.
Job Description
The selected candidate will support botanical surveys, vegetation monitoring, plant data collection, and other conservation-related activities conducted by Yayasan Palung. The position may involve working in remote forest areas within the tropical rainforest ecosystems of Kalimantan.
This role provides valuable experience for graduates in Biology and Forestry who wish to contribute to conservation initiatives and gain practical field experience in biodiversity research.
