The Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs) define the competencies expected of graduates of the Biology Education Study Programme. These outcomes encompass the domains of knowledge and understanding, skills, and autonomy and responsibility to support professional practice, scientific development, bioedupreneurship, and community engagement.
Character, AdAb, and Integrity
Demonstrate character and AdAb reflecting adaptability, enthusiasm, and integrity as a manifestation of devotion to God Almighty.
Analysis of Pedagogical and Scientific Principles
Able to analyse pedagogical principles, essential biology concepts, science including climate change studies, mathematics, technology, and scientific methodology to formulate solutions to procedural problems.
Critical Problem Solving
Able to solve problems critically and wisely by applying concepts of pedagogy, essential biology, science, scientific methodology, and technological development while adapting to changing situations.
Scientific Communication
Able to communicate scientific concepts and research findings in biology and biology education both orally and in writing by utilising science and technology.
Laboratory and Field Practice
Able to integrate essential biological concepts and developments in laboratory and field practices while applying bioethical principles and occupational health and safety.
